I am in awe that my baby is 3 today! We didn't get to go out or do anything today since all four of us are sick. Drew is getting better, the girls are in the middle of sickness and I just started to get sick today. It's miserable! We've been in the house ALL WEEK! The girls are actually being pretty good for how awful they must feel. I'm hoping by the end of the weekend they will be ok. We were supposed to have a little party for Sophia tomorrow with some friends, but with all of us sick, we are postponing it until two weekends from now. By that time, I'm hoping we'll all be better and all the germs will be gone. Maybe it will be nice enough to have it at a park also. Tonight we did have cake (Tinkerbell, Sophia's latest obsession) and she opened some presents. Tomorrow she has some more presents to open and can use the ones from tonight. I just have a few funny stories:
This morning, Stella was awake early so I got her and brought her into our bed to lay down for a few minutes until Sophia woke up. Well, some mornings Stella is crabby when she wakes up, and this morning was one of them. Sophia woke up and climbed up into my bed with us and said, "Stella, you little faker." It was the cutest little voice. We say this to both girls sometimes just teasing them when they are fake crying. It's so funny the way Sophia says it, too.
This afternoon, the girls and I were playing in Sophia's room (newly rearranged yesterday to be more like a big-girl room) and Sophia ran to Stella's room for something. As she returned, she ran in and stood with her legs spread apart, telling us something. Stella ran to her, got down on her hands and knees and crawled through Sophia's legs. It was sooooo cute because I have never seen her do that before. Sophia thought it was great, so she kept having Stella do it. Stella must have crawled under her about 20 times before she got tired or bored and came to read a book with me. Periodically throughout the rest of the day Sophia tried to get Stella to do it more. They just crack each other up. It's great for me to see when they entertain themselves with something so silly.
I will post some pictures of cake and presents from tonight tomorrow.
