It's snowing!

When Drew got home tonight, Sophia was in bed but not asleep yet. He went in to say goodnight and rock with her for a few minutes. He took her outside to see the snow and catch some on their tongues. She LOVED it! When I told her today that it was going to snow tonight, she said, "not at my house in South Carolina. Yiayia and Papou have lots of snow for me at their house." Then when I finally convinced her that it WAS going to snow here (only an inch, maybe) she said, "when I wake up in the morning we can make snow angels and snow butterflies and a snowman!" She was SOOOO excited so I just couldn't tell her that there was not going to be enough snow for that. Hopefully in the morning she'll see that there is not enough. In her mind, next time we're up North there will still be lots of snow, even if it's in the summer. I wonder what Stella will think of it. She was already asleep before it started snowing.
