Christmas!

Since we were out of town for over a week right before Christmas, I had no time to get the wrapping done. So, I was up until 2:30 on Christmas eve wrapping all their presents and putting together their new tricycle and rocking moose (from Alex and Jo). There were so many more things that could have been put together ahead of time, but I waited until after they opened everything. Here is our tree with everything under it:


In the morning, Sophia was soooo excited to see the presents! We had them start with their stockings first:

Stella was quite excited about the new book in her stocking. I think if that was all she had recieved for Christmas she would have been so excited:

Here's Stella opening a gift. We had to coerce her to open any after the first because she was just interested in playing. We let her play with a few things that were easy to open.

Sophia is opening her new doll house from Grammie! She's dressed in her Cinderella dress that Santa brought and Stella is trying to steal Sophia's Belle shoes:

The girls were so overwhelmed by how many presents there were to open that we had to stop half-way through and take a break. We made a big breakfast and enjoyed that before opening the rest of the gifts. It was nice to stay in our pjs and relax with the girls for the morning. We didn't finish opening all the gifts until naptime. I put together a bunch of the toys while the girls were sleeping.
