Shopping

Sophia put her headband on Stella as was telling her how cute she looked. They are in a big, empty diaper box lined with a blanket. Silly girls...

Sophia asked for a treat after dinner (something she rarely gets) and she is sure to always share with Stella. Sophia is feeding Stella an M&M. Even if she only had two she would share one with Stella without being asked or told.

They were being very silly.

Trying for a Christmas card picture. Stella was waving at me while Drew had the camera.

Also trying for a Christmas card. Sophia happened to be sitting on Stella's hand. Obviously Stella didn't like that but Sophia thought it was quite funny!

Today Sophia and I went out to some stores to get a few things. We had four stops to make and at each store at least one person stopped to comment on how cute Sophia is and how much they like her curls. I don't think I've ever been out to a store with the girls where I haven't gotten at least one comment about them. People are really drawn to kids with curls...I'm sure the girls will really get tired of hearing how much everyone likes them by the time they're in middle school! I'm also sure they'll be asking me to straighten their hair before long...you always want the hair you don't have.

Sophia was walking around the stores today carrying her imaginary chicken. It was cute. And at one of the stores she insisted we needed to buy some donkey food for her donkey. She's got quite the imagination.

The girls played for AN HOUR tonight in a big, empty diaper box. The silliest things can keep them busy! We also tried for over an hour today to get a good Christmas card picture. It was quite an ordeal. We came up with one that is decent but that was after a LOT of work! Stella's got a mind of her own when it comes to posing. She will smile for you if you ask, but only when she feels like it, and it never ends up being at the same time as Sophia. Here's hoping that next year will be a little easier...maybe I can bribe them with something good...
